Ashlee Simpson has now hints Pete Wentz is a pill popper. The two seemed to be having an amicable split, but then the accusations started to fly. This time it’s Ashlee saying Pete took too many pills and she didn’t trust him to be faithful to her.
Ashlee and Pete spent a lot of time apart. Is it really a surprise that trust and infidelity became an issue?
Reportedly, Pete was hooked on several prescription medications and also had a bit of a wandering eye. Ashlee got fed up with his crap and threatened to leave him. He apparently didn’t heed her warning and continued his antics, prompting her to file for divorce.
She was pressuring him to go to rehab, but he didn’t listen. So she took off and filed for divorce. A source said, “Ashlee realized that Pete had become a functioning addict and that he wasn’t making any effort to quit.” Reportedly, he’s been taking Ambien, Xanax and OxyContin. The source added, “When Pete drinks and takes pills, he goes wild. Ashlee doesn’t trust him to be faithful.”
It’s too bad they couldn’t work things out, because they seemed so happy in love when they did get married. Do you think it’s too late for them if he does go to rehab if the pills part is true?
