D.A.’s offer – a six month in jail for Lindsay Lohan. This is really bad, the Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers has just made an offer to Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer and it’s a six month jail time.
The offer was revealed by sources connected with the LiLo case to TMZ.com. Judge Keith Schwartz said in open court that he had a feeling Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley won’t take up the D.A.’s offer.
It’s almost certain that Lindsay will somehow cop a plea because she’s likely going to jail one way or another.
Here’s the scope as TMZ puts it, the judge ruled Lindsay’s preliminary hearing and probation violation case will be heard at the same time. At the end of the preliminary hearing, if the judge feels it’s more likely than not that Linds stole the necklace, she will be sent to jail immediately while she awaits trial on the grand theft case.
So even if Lindsay is ultimately found not guilty at trial, she could still be in jail for the probation violation.
Short story … it’s likely Holley will plead guilty or no contest on behalf of her client, and then hope the judge gives LiLo a shorter sentence than 6 months.
Our prayers go out for Lindsay, we hope this all ends well. Honestly, I think she must have learnt something out of all these messes.
