Charlie Sheen is holed up in his Los Angeles mansion because he doesn’t think he needs rehab! First, we thought he checked into rehab and was planning to stay there for three whole months then we were told Charlie is doing his rehab at home; now we’re coming to understand that Charlie doesn’t think he needs rehab. Hence, he’s not going there! Sounds about right.
“Charlie was supposed to go to a rehab facility but he absolutely refused to go,” one pal who is close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “He is at home now and those close to him are trying to get him to enter a facility, but he doesn’t think he has a problem.”
Sheen exchanged SMS with Radar Online on Friday afternoon around 4:30 PT which seems to confirm what his pal is telling.
“I’m fine,” Sheen told RadarOnline’s Senior Executive Editor Dylan Howard around the same time it was announced he had checked into rehab — when he hadn’t.
“People don’t seem to get it…. Guy can’t have a great time and do his job also?”
As to his haters, Charlie has this to say: “Bunch of turds!”
But in reality — and while experts and professionals are coming to Sheen’s gated community to treat him as part of a compromise deal — “it’s not rehab”, according to one source.
“This is intervention time,” said the pal.
“Charlie doesn’t think he needs help, he is still up until all hours of the night and is refusing to get it at an outside facility, all while those close to him — including his dad Martin, family, friends and his employers CBS — work to convince him he needs to enter a facility.”
Oh well, that’s that. Charlie is a grown man if he doesn’t even think he needs help, what can we do?
