Lindsay Lohan escaped jail time for today. Lohan was arraigned this afternoon in Los Angeles after being charged with felony grand theft charge. The court, however, was somewhat lenient on the actress and let her go on $40,000 bail.
Another hearing is set for February 23rd where justice (I suppose) will be served and Lohan may receive a stiffer penalty.
For now it seems the court took pity on her after passing a series of drug tests and, as her probation officer said, being a “good probationer.”
Lohan, however, is forbade from entering the store where the burglary happened. According to reports, she sent them flowers which freaked them out a bit.
