The King’s Speech wins the Oscar Best Picture Award. It beats out The Social Network, The Fighter, Black Swan, The Kids are All Right, 127 Hours, True Grit, Toy Story 3 and Winter’s Bone!
The King’s Speech had 12 nominations and ended the night winning four big awards. The movie about the British Royals also claimed Best Director for Tom Hooper; Best Actor for Colin Firth for his portrayal of the British king.
Colin Firth wins Oscar Best Actor Award! Colin beats out Jeff Bridges, James Franco, Jess Eisenberg, Javier Bardem to win the Best Actor for his role in The King’s Speech.
This one we got it right. We were betting for Colin to win. The King’s Speech had 12 nods winning four including The Best Picture Award.
Looks like the king has been crowned. In case if you haven’t seen the movie, Colin plays the role of the king — King George IV of Britain and Helena Bonham Carter plays his wife Queen Elizabeth.
Natalie Portman wins Oscar Best Actress Award! Portman gave a very emotional acceptance speech. She went on and on thanking everyone.. really touching.
Ok we were wrong, we thought Annette Bening would be the one on stage accepting this grand award nonetheless, congratulations to Natalie for winning The Best Actress Award for her role in Black Swan.
This is quite a year for Natalie besides bagging this big award; Natalie and her boyfriend, co-actor Benjamin Millepied are expecting their first child.

Oscar red carpet 2011! The biggest movie event of the year is underway at the Kodak Theater. Red carpet is one of my favorites of the show, we get to see all the gorgeous celebrities parading in their stunning gowns and the gents all decked out in their designer suits, I love a guy in his suit, don’t you?

Chris Brown is now BLONDE! Chris has bleached his hair blonde! Brown must be following the hairstyle change movement which started with Justin Bieber chopping off his signature bowl do and Jennifer Aniston follows with her recent cut. Changes are always good!
Chris tweeted this blonde do early this morning. His new album F.A.M.E. which is set to be released on March 22. After the Rihanna incident which happened two years ago after the Grammy, Chris’ career has taken a major setback.
Amidst of all the trouble Lindsay Lohan has been going through, she’ll be doing a gig at the Oscars tonight. It’s actually a post-Oscar gig with Jimmy Kimmel.
Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ.com she’ll play a role in Jimmy’s taped sketch that will air during the special, which airs after local news, after the Oscars. This year, Jimmy’s sketch features some of the hottest women in Hollywood namely Lindsay, Scarlett Johansson, Emily Blunt, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria, Minka Kelly and Jessica Biel. Not bad!
