Pete Wentz is devastated his marriage to Ashlee Simpson is over. Sources close to the rocker say he’s been crumpled and bawling since Ashlee decided she was happier alone and filed for divorce this week.
While we already reported it was a shock to Pete, now his friends say he’s completely and utterly devastated.
“Pete has been crying a lot to her about this. He is crushed, and does not want it to be over. Ashlee is done, she loves him, but she’s ready to move on,” said the source. ”When he traveled for work, she had a lot of time to think, and in the end she just felt happier without him.”
