The Duchess of York, 51, is to be absent from the April 29 Royal nuptials, PEOPLE magazine has confirmed.
Fergie will be overseas, though she was not anticipating being invited in any case. “She will not be attending. She never expected to be invited,” the rep says.
But her daughters, Princess Beatrice, 22, and Princess Eugenie, 20, cousins of Prince William are expected to attend the ceremony.
Fergie has turned down all offers connected with the wedding itself. “She has declined all commercial work relating to the wedding,” her spokesman says. Instead, Fergie has been making a special documentary for Oprah Winfrey’s new network, OWN, which will air later this year.

I imagine she is still ashamed because of the attempt to make money by promising an audience with her ex husband. It was extremely gracious on the part of the bride & groom to invite Fergie’s daughters. Excellent start William & Kate.
