A huge earthquake of 8.9 magnitude hit northeastern Japan Friday local time which set off a tsunami. Japan broadcaster NHK Public aired the tsunami video showing cars, houses and buildings being swept away by water. The waves are said to be as high as 20 feet!
A tsunami warning has been issued for Russia, Marcus Island and the Northern Marianas. A tsunami watch has been issued for Guam, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia and Hawaii.
We don’t know the number of casualties as yet. Our prayers go out to Japan and everyone who is enduring this natural disaster.

This is scary. Latest reports are of a nuclear reactor in trouble. It could get even worse.
The pattern of these things is not good either. Looking at the dates on there of previous coverages, most are very recent.
