CBS wants Charlie Sheen back. Sources are saying that Charlie is a wanted man back at the CBS studios. The head honcho doesn’t care what Charlie has done recently…he wants Two and a Half Men to be on the airwaves again in the fall.
There isn’t a word from Charlie’s camp if he wants to go back now or not.
The top exec at the Eye network is ready, willing, and able to forgive and forget all of Sheen’s recent antics and continue broadcasting the series, with Sheen back in the starring role, a well-placed insider tells us.
According to our source, CBS President and CEO Les Moonves has been speaking directly with top execs at Warner Bros. Television — the company that produces Men and also fired Sheen.
Very interesting indeed. I wonder if the rumor that Charlie met with Fox had anything to do with CBS’ sudden and urgent interest. Do you think Charlie will go back to CBS?
