Chris Brown opened up for one of the first times about that little beating incident involving Rihanna in 2009. Chris Brown, as we all know, plead guilty to felony assault charge after beating up then girlfriend Rihanna, and since then has been on shaky ground with the public.
Brown has a new album out later this month and opened up to Page Six magazine. It seems Brown is shrugging off his bad behavior like it was a standard DUI or something.
“I’m in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-ass man. And at the end of the day, if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool. A handful of people stuck by me. But when [most] people see certain things happen to somebody, they usually turn away. People kind of get clouded, and then when they get up to the top, they kind of lose a bit of themselves and they’re not as humble. So knowing how it can be taken away and given back and taken away again, it kind of just taught me to be focused.”
Does this seem genuine to you? Or is Chris Brown just kind of a perpetual n’er do well?
