Chris Brown will be allowed to keep his scheduled performance on Dancing With The Stars. After his outburst on GMA the other day, it was questioned if he would be allowed on the abc set. It seems show producers will allow it, but the dancing cast must not speak about it.
Producers have told the dancers and stars they are NOT to comment on anything regarding Chris, rehearsals and anything going on behind the scenes with him.
Despite the criticism, it’s easy to see why ABC decided to keep Brown scheduled as their performer — ratings. This may be the first time in recent memory that “Dancing” has ever drawn headlines simply for having a celebrity sing on their show, and there will be people watching just to see if he decides to smash something else. Ultimately, you have to believe that this will very well end up being a letdown from that standpoint — he will likely come on, perform a pair of songs, and then leave without really talking to anyone else.
Oh, ratings! The shows can always use ratings and abc has been handed some on a platter! Will you watch Chris perform to see what he does?
