Chris Brown didn’t get a warm welcome from the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cast last night especially NOT from Wendy Williams and domestic abuse victim, Cheryl Burke.
“As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control,” Cheryl said after Chris’ performance.
Wendy has been vocal about her dislike for Chris ever since his assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. After his recent ‘GMA’ blowup, she said on her talk show that she was “disgusted with this little boy.” So you can imagine what kind of welcome Wendy gave Chris..
“Usually when a big star comes in to sing, the entire cast is excited to meet them and spend the day together at rehearsals,” a ‘Dancing’ insider tells Rob Shuter at Pop Eater. “With Chris, no one wanted to be around when he rehearsed.”
Shuter’s source also observed that “Kirstie wanted to spend as little time as possible around him. It was hard enough for her to be in the same building as him.”
“No one wanted anything to do with him,” a ‘Dancing’ insider tells Rob. “Most of the cast think it’s disgraceful that ABC invited him on in the first place, but after he smashed a window backstage at ‘Good Morning America,’ almost everyone participating in the competition thought he should have been canceled.”
The behind the scene probably was more than ghostly for Chris but on a brighter note his performance went well in the ballroom.
Well, Chris just has to learn to chill from now on..
Do you think it was not the perfect timing for DWTS to have Chris on the show after his blowup at Good Morning America?
