Kirstie Alley’s costars are coming to her defense a week after George Lopez joked about Kirstie’s first Dancing With the Stars routine comparing her to a dancing pig. Not cool George..
“I’d say to [Lopez], “You get out here.” You think it’s so easy? You sign up. Put your money where your mouth is. Leave Kirstie alone,” pro dancer Mark Ballas told UsMagazine.com backstage after Monday’s second performance.
Right on Mark!
“She danced great two weeks in a row,” Ballas continues. “She’s got a great partner in Maks [Chmerkovskiy]. Our demographic is middle aged women who watch, and she’s an idol and role model for these women!”
Alley’s first DWTS dance “The cha cha” was slammed by the late night host, Lopez who joked that “She did a nice job. Her little hooves tapping away.” He went on, “Before the show, she went to the market and then she had some roast beef and this is her going all the way home.” Lopez then played the nursery rhyme, “This Little Piggy Goes to Market” and showed a clip of a pig squealing “wheeeeeeee.”
But didn’t George watch Kirstie properly? She was FANTASTIC and the audience just could not stop clapping. She won raves from the judges and the viewers, didn’t she George?
Alley, 60, lashed out at Lopez and refused his apology on Twitter. “I don’t need or want ur apology,” Alley tweeted March 25. “I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted…give it back.”
That’s a good one Alley! In case you didn’t know George’s ex-wife gave him her kidney thereafter he cheated on her.. What a wonderful gentleman.
I’m starting to like Kirstie even more these few weeks! Don’t you think George has really crossed the line?
