James Franco’s rep has come out and said he was not stoned during the Oscar broadcast. There has been much criticism of James and his whole awards persona and the latest claim was that he was stoned and did not care what happened during the awards.
His rep came out and issued a denial last night. There was also comments that Anne Hathaway and James are friends and do not hate each other, contrary to other reports.
Franco was not under the influence on Sunday. “James does not drink or do drugs ever,” his rep tells me.
Several sources (who have no reason to spin me) confirm that Franco is not a partier.
How would he have time to party? He’s going to Yale on top of working in LA…the man is just busy, overworked and tired. Why did he even agree to do the Oscars during the middle of the semester remains a mystery. Do you think his rep is just covering his butt?
