Jennifer Aniston is going to be a country star now. Jennifer has signed up for a movie role where she will play a country musician from the group The Goree Girls. It might be good for Jennifer to get out of the romcom genre and do something different…
Is Jennifer doing this because Gwyneth Paltrow got good reviews in the country business and she wanted to try her own hand at singing?
The movie, based on real events that took place in Goree Prison, is about eight talented female inmates who formed a country-western band; embraced by the public, the women were ultimately pardoned.
Aniston will reportedly co-produce the musical project (which has been bouncing around Hollywood since at least 2007), with big names such as Kelly Rowland, Pam Tillis and Ellen Pompeo attached as co-stars in recent months.
Sounds interesting…but can that cast gel and get the movie some buzz? Would you be interested in hearing Jennifer sing?
