Lindsay Lohan’s assault case has been dropped. The troubled starlet has found herself not only in and out of rehab for the past few years, but also in and out of court. Her latest court appearance was in relation to a battery charge after an altercation with a Betty Ford Clinic worker, Dawn Holland, back in December.
While rumors swirled then that Lohan paid off the disgruntled rehab worker, sources close the case say it was just lack of evidence and LiLo was let go because they couldn’t prove that she did in fact commit the crime.
Now onto her next court date: the felony grand theft charge. Let’s hope for an equally optimistic result with this one as well.
