Madonna’s school project in Malawi failed because of the leadership, not because Madonna walked away. Audits have come back showing that the money is being misused and the process is hardly even off the ground – not because Madonna wanted to abandon it. So much for Madonna trying to be like Oprah and build schools to educate the world!
Madonna hasn’t come out and commented on the whole mess…yet. Will she try to do good again?
The board of directors of the organization, Raising Malawi, has been ousted and replaced by a caretaker board, including Madonna and her manager, officials with the organization said Thursday. Its executive director, who is the boyfriend of Madonna’s former trainer, Tracy Anderson, left in October amid criticism of his management style and cost overruns for the school. These included what auditors described as outlandish expenditures on salaries, cars, office space and a golf course membership, free housing and a car and driver for the school’s director.
So Madonna didn’t abandon the project, the people she put in charge of it failed her. In a big way. Do you think she will comment on it in the future?

She knows how to collect hundreds of millions in touring revenues,
knows where gay people spend money and which trend to latch onto-but
can’t get a charity operation straight. She must have cared very
deeply about those children with Aidz to allow this to happen.
