CATHERINE ZETA JONES has voluntarily checked herself into a mental health facility to treat bipolar disorder. Well, this is a shock – Catherine Z seemed liked the rock in the family when husband Michael Douglas fell ill with cancer last year and proceeded to battle it out very publicly.
But perhaps that was the tipping point for the 42-year-old actress. According to her rep:
“After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay. She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.”
