KIRSTIE ALLEY is all set to earn more money than any of the other celebrities on ‘Dancing With the Stars’—but not because Alley is getting paid more than the other contestants, since all of them make the same (except for the winner, of course) amount of money every week…
Because of DWTS, the actress has lost a lot of weight and is now taking advantage of it to make lots of extra cash.
One of Kirstie’s friends revealed to Rob Shuter of PopEater that the actress is making use of her experience on the show to sell her recently launched weight loss product, which sold out in minutes. The friend said:
“She has already lost 70 lbs dancing and hasn’t wasted one minute to capitalize on it.”
Kirstie definitely has the mind of a businesswoman. Her friend also added:
“Kirstie is no fool. She used her over 800,000 Twitter followers to make sure they tuned in and bought her product and has no plans of stopping any time soon.”
A few days ago, the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant presented her Organic Liaison weight loss products on QVC. Prior to the appearance, Kirstie tweeted:
“I will be on QVC this Saturday morning around 10:30 … presenting my Organic Liaison products … I’ve lost 70 lbs on them!! Woo hoo.”
Minutes before actually presenting the products, she again tweeted:
“Go on QVC in approx FIVE minutes … woo hoo … Get lean with me!!!….. Together we can do this and stay lean forever!!”
Although many stars from the popular celebrity dance competition have used their heightened profile from being on the show to endorse and promote all kinds of products, many observers are convinced that Kirstie Alley is definitely raising the bar.
