In LADY GAGA‘s rather explosive interview to British music magazine NME, she called critics “retarded” for suggesting that she might be copying Madonna. Sure, sure – her new single ‘Born This Way’ truly and honestly sounds like ‘Express Yourself’ but don’t suggest that around Gaga!
After several social rights groups took offense to her word usage, Gaga posted the following apology on PerezHilton.com:
“I consider it part of my life’s work and music to push the boundaries of love and acceptance. My apologies for not speaking thoughtfully. To anyone that was hurt, please know that it was furiously unintentional. An honest mistake, requires honesty to make.”
