LILY ALLEN was not on the guest list of the Royal Wedding, and apparently Allen, the “Smile” singer was pretty miffed about being excluded from the event of the year.
Lily Allen made no secret of her displeasure as she took to Twitter and broadcasted her rant:
“well, you can quote me as ‘outraged’, why does bloody Joss Stone get an invite and not moi? I sang at the Diana concert too!”
According to Amber Goodhand of Radar, the Diana concert she was referring to was the Concert for Diana, at which both Joss Stone and Lily Allen performed.
Lily may have gotten some flack for her bitter statement as she later tweeted:
“it was pretty obvious that I was being sarcastic about not being invited to the royal wedding, right?”
The singer also added:
“Besides I wouldn’t be able to go anyway, I have a previous engagement.”
