Yes, it’s true—AVRIL LAVIGNE hurled a couple of F-bombs and various other obscenities at the crowd during last night’s Tampa Bay Rays game. After hearing about this bit of celebrity news, we couldn’t help but hurl a bit of sarcasm her way, such as: ‘She’s such a badass, isn’t she?’ and ‘What a classy girl.’
Avril showed off her swearing skills at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game after a technical problem caused some difficulties at the start of her post-game concert. According to reports, Avril’s mic simply wouldn’t work at the beginning of her show, and when the crowd started to boo, the singer responded by yelling four-letter swear words at them—and to think there must have been lots of young, impressionable children in that crowd.
Afterwards, the public address announcer got on the horn and apologized to the crowd:
“That’s not what the Tampa Bay Rays are about.”
Do you think Avril will ever get invited to perform at another ball game? We don’t think so.

I was there and she was just as cute as always. I don’t believe it was directed at the crowd at all, it was just Avril doing her thing. She smiled the entire concert and gave a great show. When a few families left it only allowed for her real fans to move closer to the stage. GREAT MINI SHOW!!
