Bethenny Frankel is drowning in the (Skinnygirl) drink. The reality star turned liquor endorser is facing a $100 million lawsuit from her ex-manager who alleges the former “Housewife” stole $12 million worth of brokerage fees from him.
According to Hollywood news and gossip, Doug Wald, co-president of Raw Talent, introduced Bethenny to the people who signed her on to market the Skinnygirl cocktail brand. Bethanny agreed to pay Wald and Raw Talent 10% commission on her earnings as Skinnygirl endorser…
“She expressly represented that any agreement relating to the exploitation of the Skinnygirl Cocktail Brand would be commissionable under their management agreement.”
Wald’s complaint says.
Long story short, Hollywood celebrity gossip reports that Bethenny fired Wald and he claims she cut him out of $120 million in profits from her Skinnygirl deal. Wald and Raw Talent are now suing Bethenny for $12 million, plus $100 million in punitive damages for “fraud, breach of oral contract and other counts”.
