BRITNEY SPEARS put a lid on the booze bottle in order to lose that extra 20 pounds. Well, here you have it folks. The one thing standing between Britney and her old, bangin’ body from yesteryear? Alcohol.

A close friend of Spears told OK magazine:

“The best thing she ever did was cut out alcohol. It was bloating her, upsetting her blood sugar and causing her cravings. It stressed her out and added to her weight gain,” a source says. “It was a vicious cycle. Now, she seems to finally have control.”

So what is Britney‘s biggest diet downfall?

“Pizza, cookie-dough ice cream and greasy tacos..and her weekly cheat, enjoying her fave warm ham-and-cheese croissant.”

According to Hollywood gossip news, Britney has began doing punishing cardio, weights and pilates exercises to tone up for her upcoming tour.
