Hollywood gossip news got CHARLIE SHEEN’S take on ASHTON KUTCHER’S filling his mentally unstable shoes in “Two and A Half Men”. Interviewed for his reaction on the “Punk’d” star signing on to the CBS sitcom to take his place, Charlie had only praises for Ashton, but visions of ruin and misfortune for the popular series.
And what did the wacko warlock have to say about the younger, hotter Ashton taking over his role as the hedonistic, alcohol-loving, jingle writing bachelor, Charlie Harper?
“Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer … Oh wait, so am I!”
Charlie continued with
“Enjoy the show, America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB.”
In TV industry lingo, a 2.0 Nielsen rating in the advertiser-friendly 18-to-49 demographic is viewed as a flop. Charlie‘s looking at the mass departure of regular viewers from that age bracket, despite Ashton‘s evidently youth-centric appeal, and his 6.6 million Twitter fans.
Charlie also took this opportunity to take another swipe at show’s creator Chuck Lorre
“Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton…there is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.”
