Celebrity gossip websites are anticipating the highly controversial EMILY BROWNING flick, “Sleeping Beauty” where the “Sucker Punch” star bares her nude body to the fetishes of strangers. It’s quite a departure from Browning‘s earlier films, where she played Violet Baudelaire in “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events”, and Baby Doll in this year’s critically ravaged “Sucker Punch”. According to Hollywood gossip news, Browning plays a university student recruited by a prostitution ring catering to clients with bizarre fetishes. Browning essays the role of Lucy, who takes a cocktail of drugs to knock her unconscious so men could play out their fantasies on her pliant, naked body. Hence, “Sleeping Beauty”.
Who knows, this Cannes entry may very well may be a good career move for Browning, who, unlike her other high-profile “Sucker Punch” co-stars, isn’t making quite the bleep on the Hollywood radar of late.
