File under: strange celebrity news. GEORGE CLOONEY who is known for throwing big birthday bashes for himself was so disgruntled about turning fifty he decided to spend the day by himself. Sure, he went out to dinner with a few close friends the night before, but it was hardly the daring bash the actor is known for.
Clooney and his long-time girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis ate at Mr. Chow in Los Angeles and shared a table with owner Michael Chow. However, that’s were the celebration ended.
“George either has a huge practical joke planned on everyone or he really is have a crisis about turning 50,” said a source close to the actor.“He’s told everyone he doesn’t want to do anything or for them to send gifts. He’s intent on spending it alone because he says he’s too old for birthdays.”
Cheer up, George! You don’t look a day over precious!
