JOHNNY DEPP now knows a bunch of the raunchiest, most vulgar Spanish words known to man, thanks to his ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ co-star PENELOPE CRUZ.
Well, we don’t really see anything bad about that—anything that comes out of Johnny Depp’s mouth is worth listening to.
During a press conference for the promotion of their new movie, Johnny revealed:
“She taught me the raunchiest Spanish that I’ve ever been told. It’s so foul that I couldn’t bring myself to repeat it, here and now… It’s a bad idea. I would carry that on my back for the rest of my days.”
Aside from this bit of celebrity news, Johnny also talked about how much he enjoyed seeing and working with Penelope again. The the fourth installment of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ isn’t the first movie they’ve worked together (they both starred in the movie ‘Blow’ almost 10 years ago):
“The weird thing was that, when we saw each other again, it felt like we’d wrapped Blow the week before. It just clicked instantly… Whatever exists, in terms of chemistry, was just instantly firing on all cylinders. It felt completely right.”
Clearly, Johnny had nothing but praises for his radiant co-star, despite her less than wholesome Spanish tutoring:
“It was Rob Marshall‘s brilliant idea to bring her in, and when he brought up the idea to me, I went, ‘Great idea!’ I was very, very excited to have Penelope come into this film… I knew she would be, not only a worthy opponent, but someone who would just kill the scenes, and she did. She was incredible.”
Now, back to the raunchy Spanish. What words could Penelope have taught Johnny?
