While JON BON JOVI may not be the most powerful celebrity in the world today (hats off to you Lady Gaga), the latest Hollywood gossip discovered he and his band have made a fortune over the past year – a rollicking $125 million! For a guy and his rock band that made their hay in the 80′s, that’s pretty impressive…
In fact, Bon Jovi‘s earned more in the last 12 months than Kanye West, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber (*gasp* impossible!) combined!
In the last year, Hollywood celebrity gossip has learned that Jon and his band played 74 shows in 15 countries, earning a gross of $203 million in ticket sales alone. And that’s not counting the $20 million they’ve made in merchandise (Jon Bon Jovi t-shirts, anyone?). In fact, Jon ranks number 8 on this year’s Celebrity 100 list.
Not bad for a 49-year-old father of four who’s been married to his high-school sweetheart for the last 20-odd years.
