JUSTIN BIEBER Biography
Justin Bieber was first discovered by Scooter Braun who accidentally came across Bieber‘s videos on YouTube in 2008 and later became his manager. The talented boy’s mother Mallette was only posting Bieber‘s videos on YouTube as a way to share young Bieber‘s performances with relatives.
Braun was very impressed with Justin‘s talents and finally tracked down his mother Mallette. Mallette was reluctant to have Justin work with Braun because of Braun’s Jewish religion so she recalled praying to God, “God, I gave him to you. You could send me a Christian man, a Christian label! … you don’t want this Jewish kid to be Justin’s man, do you?”
At the end, after being encouraged by her church, she decided to let Justin fly to Atlanta, Georgia to record his demo record, he was only 13. Braun later introduced Justin to Usher. Bieber was soon signed on to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher.
Growing up, Justin was raised by his mother, a single mom Patricia Lynn “Pattie” Mallette, She was only 18 years old when she became pregnant with Justin. His mom worked a series of low-paying office jobs raising Justin, they lived in low-income housing. Bieber and his dad, Jeremy Jack Bieber, have maintained contact throughout his childhood. Jeremy has re-married and has other two children from his existing marriage.
