KATY PERRY is getting ready for her U.S. summer tour and has a rather detailed rider. As it turns out, Ms. Perry has a very intricate hatred for carnations and doesn’t want her drivers to talk to her. Who knew, right? This is some juicy celebrity news! However, she wants fresh flowers in her dressing room everyday, preferably peonies.
So what kind of flowers does Perry want?
“White and purple hydrangeas, pink & white roses and peonies.” If those flowers are not available, Perry will settle for a “selection of seasonal white flowers to include white orchids.” However, promoters are advised, “ABSOLUTELY NO CARNATIONS.” That warning is, of course, underlined.”
So what else are disclaimers on Perry’s list?
“A coffee table needs to be “perspex modern style.” A pair of floor lamps should be in “French ornate style. Chauffeurs, the rider notes, are not allowed to “start a conversation w/ the client.” Wheelmen are similarly barred from conversing with Perry’s guests or fans. They also are directed not to stare at the backseat through the rear view mirror.”
Yikes. She doesn’t particularly sound too pleasant? And this is honestly disheartening…isn’t Katy Perry supposed to be the anti-diva?
