LINDSAY LOHAN is poised to evade jail time, despite the fact that she was sentenced to 120-days behind bars. Instead of carrying out her sentence in jail, Lindsay might just be in for three months of house arrest.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department routinely allows those with non-violent, misdemeanor offenses to serve their sentence at home while wearing a monitoring device at all times. Since they run the jail where Lindsay is supposed to serve her time, it is quite likely that they will allow her to just go under house arrest for 120 days.
It has been reported recently that Lindsay will plead no contest, which is why it is most likely her 120-day sentence will not be increased.
What do you think? Is house arrest appropriate punishment for stealing a very expensive necklace?
