LINDSAY LOHAN was sentenced to four months in jail today. While this may seem like a huge blow, the actress actually received a considerable amount of breaks in this case. For starters, for those who have been keeping up with celebrity news, her sentence was reduced to misdemeanor and secondly she could serve out the entire sentence within the confines of her plush Los Angeles mansion.
She’ll likely wear one of those handy (or should we say footsy) ankle bracelet detection things and will also have to fulfill 480 hours of community service and a shoplifters-aholic (or something like that) class.
The judge is rumored to probably go for this house arrest thing due to overcrowding in the L.A. jail system.
