MARIA SHRIVER has decided to comment on all the entertainment news surrounding (soon-to-be ex?) husband ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER‘s infidelity and love child. As reported earlier today, Arnold impregnated a member of his household staff who went on to have the child. Shriver had no idea her husband was the dad and didn’t find out until earlier this year.
She made the decision to separate from him and released this statement:
“This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”
In addition, the couple’s 17-year-old son, Patrick, tweeted earlier today:
“Some days you feel like sh*t, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet I love my family till death do us apart. #family”
Ugh. I feel worst for the children in this situation. Do you think Maria will take him back?
