M-BONE Killed Over Jealousy?
The latest Hollywood gossip has heard M-BONE’S girlfriend saying the Cali Swag district member was murdered by a man reported to be “insanely jealous” of his hip-hop success. It seems M-Bone, born Montae Talbert, was subject to overt hostility and threats from a man who lived in their apartment complex.
Hollywood gossip reports the girlfriend is scared stiff, and refuses to divulge her name (yeah, who’d want to mess with the boy in the ‘hood?)…
She says there’d been a Twitter war and threats of violence. At 10PM Sunday night, M-Bone borrowed her car to attend a recording session at the studio, but she got a call from another Cali Swag member not soon after telling her M-Bone was a victim of a drive-by shooting.
Police have been investigating the incident since Sunday of a shooter who allegedly drove a short distance off after firing away at where M-Bone had parked outside a liquor store, then making a U-turn to see if he’d killed his target right dead. And despite some anonymous (read: the girlfriend) finger-pointing. No gun-toting, violent Twitter neighbor suspect has been arrested invited for questioning.
