PETE DOHERTY‘s been thrown in the clink (jail to you, colonials) for 6 months after he pleaded guilty to cocaine possession. According to Hollywood gossip news, the Babyshambles frontman, who’s been constantly in trouble with the law due to his drug use, was arrested in his connection to the overdose death of his friend, Robin Whitehead. Our Peter‘s been able to avoid landing in the bird since his first drug-related arrest in 2003, but it seems time’s run out for the baby-faced English musician, writer, poet, actor and artist. Six months is a long time to be away from your beloved blow.

This Pete Doherty seems to have spent that last decade living in a litter box wacked out of his mind. Where is Dr Drew when we need him ?I must say that everyone that hangs around him doing drugs end up portrayed as casual users – when bad things happen as if he is the only junkieee.Over the years I have never read about him pretending to be anything but a crack head. I like his music- trinkets and the like – he has such a strange charm about him -very sorry to see him continue using but will a prison cell where drugs use is common help save this person?
