Hollywood news and gossip websites are talking about a possible celebrity feud in the works—PINK has slammed singer/actress SELENA GOMEZ for painting a couple of horses for her new music video.
Pink, who is an avid animal-rights supporter, tweeted:
“If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame.”
Apparently, the ‘stupid music video’ Pink is talking about is Selena’s, which was shot on the beach yesterday. The video features two horses, which is innocent enough. However, Pink is lashing out because of the fact that these horses were painted lavender.
If Selena’s crew followed the rules on painting animals, then they should be okay. The American Humane Society says painting horses are perfectly fine, as long as the paint is nontoxic and the animals are checked for allergic reactions before being painted. However, Pink isn’t satisfied with this—she tweeted:
“Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”
Selena’s Twitter followers were quick to defend the Disney star. Pink responds:
“oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go.”
The whole issue has sparked a Twitter war between fans of the two singers, to which Pink said:
“whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty. i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.”
