REBECCA BLACK sets the record straight—she is NOT pregnant! Like most female celebrities, the YouTube sensation has become a victim of those crazy Hollywood rumors—and she got hit with a particularly nasty one.
A rumor surfaced over the weekend about Rebecca being knocked up. It’s a pretty serious claim—the girl is only 13 years old! Rebecca responds to the vicious rumor via Twitter:
“I thought it was May 15th…not April Fools Day. I’m absolutely NOT pregnant.”
The fabricated story spread like wildfire on Twitter and other social media outlets, much like those celebrity death hoaxes. According to sources, things got even more out of hand after it was picked up by a CNN iReport.
Although this isn’t the worst thing to happen to the ‘Friday’ singer, it’s still pretty bad.
Poor Rebecca. But hey, that’s the price you pay for fame, right?
