SACHA COHEN Biography
SACHA BARON COHEN is a tall, dark and handsome (6’ 3”) English comedian, actor, and writer. Cohen is popularly known for his portrayal of three self-created fictional funny characters: Ali G, Borat, and Brüno. In his routines, Cohen‘s characters interact with unsuspecting people who do not realize they are being set up for comic situations, until the audience laughs at the very end.
Cohen‘s work has been recognized with several Emmy nominations, an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, and a BAFTA award. He also earned a Golden Globe for Best Actor, for his role in the feature film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. He eventually will need a larger trophy case for his acting. After the release of the film Borat, Cohen announced to the world of entertainment news that because the public has become too accustomed with the characters, so he will retire Borat, Ali G and Bruno.
With his whacky, but gifted comedic mind, who knows what the next crop of Sacha Cohen characters will be like! One thing for sure, the world loves this guy.
