Because he still hasn’t learned his lesson from the Heather Mills brouhaha, and because he loves her (yeah, yeah, yeah), Paul McCartney is marrying his New York businesswoman girlfriend, Nancy Shevell.
The latest Hollywood gossip says Sir Paul has slipped the ring on the damsel’s finger, and McCartney‘s publicist has confirmed the engagement.
Unlike his former wife, model, activist and amputee, Heather Mills, there isn’t much information on his new bride-to-be, Nancy Shevell, other than she’s a vice president for New England Motor Freight in New York where she handles “accounts receivable, corporate communications, benefits administration, purchasing of all supplies and equipment — with the exception of trucks — and overall office management.”
Ok, so she’s not showbiz. Does this mean she won’t do a number on Sir Paul and go gunning for his Beatles‘ money if their union goes south?
