TAYLOR SWIFT’s Good Samaritan Move: I’m Turning My Final Tour Rehearsal Into A Benefit Concert
And now for the latest in entertainment news—TAYLOR SWIFT is turning the final dress rehearsal for her upcoming tour into a fundraiser for those who were affected by the recent tornado disasters. Isn’t that nice of her?
The fundraiser will be held on May 21 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to disaster relief for the tornado victims.
Taylor explains:
“I was watching the coverage of the tornadoes backstage at rehearsals, and I wanted to do something for the families affected by the damage.”
The golden-hearted singer shares:
“I’ve never opened a rehearsal to the public before, but I felt that inviting my fans to the last rehearsal for the Speak Now Tour would be a great way to raise money. So, tickets will be available for people to come see us in the Bridgestone Arena, where we’ve been rehearsing for the last five weeks.”
Taylor has been preparing for her tour vigorously for quite some time now, and we’re pretty sure she and her performers have perfected everything by now. However, she adds:
“We’ll probably still be doing some fine-tuning to the show that night, since this will be a true rehearsal… but I feel like it is so important for me and my fans to help if we can.”
According to sources, tickets to Taylor’s tour dress rehearsal/fundraiser will be available on her official site on May 9.
Good job, Taylor. We wish you all the best!
