ANNE HATHAWAY admits that she’s happy with her new “mellow” boyfriend: actor ADAM SHULMAN. Doesn’t “mellow” get boring?
Apparently, to Anne, it doesn’t.
Why? Because, before Adam, Anne was going out with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, who is now infamously known for his extremely shocking fraud scandal back in 2008. Definitely not mellow and definitely not boring, but… definitely a criminal.
Now that she’s with Adam, Anne says:
“So far, it’s worked out great.”
The actress admits that, before, she had a tendency to get caught up in the intensity of romance. She adds:
“Which has its wonderful side, of course…but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.”
Anne doesn’t really like to talk about her ex, Raffaello, with whom she shared a four-year relationship with prior to the scandal. She broke things off with him, as reported by celebrity gossip websites everywhere, just after he was arrested for perpetrating what is now known as the “Vati-Con” scandal.
