After days of denials, New York Democratic Rep. ANTHONY WIENER finally confessed today during a press conference that he did send lewd photos to various women online. (Watch video of Weiner’s confession below)
The scandal erupted last week as a bulging underpants photo of Weiner was tweeted to one of his followers, a 21-year-old Seattle student and instantaneously the scandal circulated among many celebrity gossip websites.
He first called the incident as “prank” but today, in the midst of mounting pressure, he admitted to have lied and had “inappropriate” exchanges with not one but six women during the past three years before and after he got married. Weiner married his wife Huma Abedin less than a year ago.
He apologized for his lies but he said he won’t resign.
“I haven’t told the truth and have done things I deeply regret,” he said. “I brought pain to people I care about.”
During his press conference, he goes on saying he shouldn’t have.. yada, yada, yada. But he did say he has not had sex with any of these women so my question is how badly did he cheat with these sextings and exchanging lewd photos? Would you consider the act as bad as actually having sex or close to it? Weiner tweeting weiner is probably a very good joke among the Republicans right now.
