Patriots safety BRET LOCKETT is not backing down despite KIM KARDASHIAN threatened to sue; Lockett still insists that the story about his relationship with KIM KARDASHIAN is true! So either Lockett is crazy as Khloe K calls him or we smell guilty somewhere..or better yet he wants the attention!
If you haven’t followed the latest celebrity news regarding our favorite reality starlet Kim K, Kim is fighting cheating allegations as published by the latest In Touch Weekly. The rag accuses Kardashian of carrying on a relationship with the New England Patriots safety Bret Lockett, that alleged affair continued after she began dating her now fiance Kris Humphries.
According to In Touch, Kim K and Bret connected after ATL actress Lauren London, who’s good friends with Kim, told the Lockett’s little brother, Colin, that Kim K wanted his number. Soon after, Kim and Bret began exchanging flirtatious texts.
Bret told In Touch:
“I knew this was a game to her, and this is what she does.”
As for the cheating allegations? Kimmy has this to say:
“This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story in a sad attempt to ruin my relationship!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. Is this your pathetic attempt for attention? I’ll be damned if anyone, especially some loser I’ve never even met, is going to try to come between Kris and me.”
Despite the insults from the Kardashian camp, Bret isn’t backing down from his story. He told NESN.com:
“I’m saying the story in the tabloid is true, and that my relationship with Kim is true as well. The story was going to be run whether I liked it or not. I don’t know how [In Touch caught wind of the story]. I don’t know any of that. But all I know is they contacted me saying they knew about my relationship with Kim. I told them, I said, ‘I don’t know how you got hold of it. I don’t know anything about what you’re talking about.’ They said, ‘We’re going to run it whether you like it or not. Do you have anything to say because Kim and their publicists are going to be able to make a statement?’ Either I could have said nothing, and just let it be and then have me look crazy, or I could have told them the full truth and let it be written as told. So that’s exactly what I did.”
Methinks Bret could be doing this for the attention since he’s dropping an album in the coming months, he wants the public to be aware of him! I say if he retracts his accusations then I’d assume he’s made everything up but otherwise.. Not to say we thought Kim would do such a thing.. NO!
