Brooklyn Decker Biography
Brooklyn Decker is a fashion model and actress best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, including the cover of the 2010 issue. Aside from working for Victoria’s Secret in the 2010 “Swim” collection, she has been on TV with guest appearances on Chuck, Ugly Betty and Royal Pains. She made her film debut in Just Go with It.
On February 8, 2010, David Letterman exclaimed on the Late Show with David Letterman that Decker had been chosen as the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model. Calling her selection “the news of a lifetime,” Decker said that her mother cried when she heard her daughter would featured on the cover.
Decker won Esquire magazine’s 2010 “Sexiest Woman Alive” bracket challenge, and MTV Networks’ NextMovie.com named her one of the ‘Breakout Stars to Watch for in 2011.
She made Hollywood gossip news when in an interview with Self magazine, in January 2011, Decker stated that she suffered from an eating disorder and states, “My father did an intervention and got me to stop obsessing about everyone else and wrecking my body.”
In 2011, Decker is married to tennis player Andy Roddick, who has been one of the top tennis players of the world for years.
