CHERYL COLE‘s been rehired by U.S. X-Factor not a week after Fox fired her from the panel of judges for, of all things, her colonial accent. They’ve done and gone an about-face and reeled her back in, thanks to Simon Cowell.
Simon convinced Fox to give the English singer another chance, despite her pronounced North-East England accent, and lack of chemistry with seasoned X-Factor judge, Paula Abdul. A source says:
“This is the biggest surprise of the lot – Cheryl is back. Who could possibly have predicted this – it appeared that Simon had dumped Cheryl for good?”
…when it’s actually been Simon backing Cheryl up the whole time, entertainment news has learned.
…”key executives at Fox all realised they had made a big mistake. They have been watching the tapes of her at the American auditions and realised that she could be a huge star over there.”
So what happens to Nicole Scherzinger who was touted to be Cheryl‘s replacement? Nicole‘s going back as co-host, and Cheryl‘s going to make all U.S. viewers watching the X-Factor go: What? What did she just say?
