It’s finally official: NINA DOBREV and IAN SOMERHALDER are a couple! The ‘Vampire Diaries’ co-stars have been keeping their romance under wraps for about a year now, and after endless speculation and the usual Hollywood rumors, they’ve finally made it official.
Nina and Ian looked every bit the cute celebrity couple as they arrived together at the Much Music Video Awards last Sunday night. The gorgeous twosome arrived together in a limo and was welcomed by screaming fans who were all absolutely hyperventilating at the sight of the TV vampires.
The interviewer then asked Nina whom she was most excited to see at the event, and the ‘Vampire Diaries’ actress replied:
“I’m excited to see Selena Gomez because she’s hosting and I’m really happy for her.”
When it was Ian’s turn to be asked the same question, Nina, who was all smiles, put a hand to her chest and mouthed “me.”
Ian obligingly (and very sweetly) replied:
“Nina Dobrev!”
We’re guessing this isn’t such good news for all the Elena-Stefan fans out there who really wanted to see Nina end up with her other vampire co-star, Paul Wesley (who is married, by the way).
So yes, that ship has sailed.
