GEORGE CLOONEY‘s gorgeous girlfriend ELISABETTA CANALIS says she is a firm believer in marriage and will not stay as a bachelorette forever. Uh-oh! This doesn’t give us a good feeling…Is she hoping to marry Clooney or someone else?
Clooney as the whole Tinsel town knows is a perennial bachelor and he has once said he will never remarry again. A few of his friends including Michelle Pfeiffer has placed bet on him that he’d eat his words and one day remarry.. he still hasn’t as of yet but who knows
Clooney’s longtime girlfriend, Canalis,32, recently opens up to Chi, an Italian magazine that she will certainly get married in the future.
“I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am,” she said.
Canalis went on to address the constant Hollywood rumors surrounding the couple:
“Whenever I see my picture in a magazine I know what is being written,” she explained. “They all say that I spend my time organizing parties and that my boyfriend does not want to marry me and be with me anymore. My boyfriend has not give an interview on his private life since 1999 — everything that you read is just a rehash of stuff that has been written in the past.”
Can’t blame Canalis for wanting to make things official after all most women like that, don’t they? Will Clooney step up to the plate and propose? Methinks never say never. Look at Simon Cowell, Cowell also said he’d never get married and things have certainly changed for Simon, the TV mogul is engaged to his makeup artist girlfriend. When the right one comes along..
