JUSTIN BIEBER debuted his new hair color at the 2011 Much Music Video Awards. It’s definitely much lighter—practically a dark blonde, if we’re not mistaken.
Justin likes to keep things fresh, which is probably why he’s always doing something new to his hair. Just last February, the singer underwent a dramatic change—which was well documented by celebrity gossip websites—by lopping off his signature Bieber hair—and he even did it on the set of the music video of his song with Rascal Flatts. Though many fans mourned the disappearance of his signature hairstyle, plenty of good came out of it as Justin auctioned off the hair on eBay for charity.
Now, Justin comes out with something a little less dramatic: a lighter hair color. It’s almost the same as his natural color—which is a nice chestnut brown shade—except it’s a little bit lighter, closer to blonde than brunette.
Thankfully, his hairstyle is still the same. But we do miss his famous hair swoop…
