Here’s the latest celebrity news: JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE came to BRITNEY SPEARS’ defense regarding her lackluster dancing! In his recent interview with Playboy magazine, the singer/actor was quick to defend his ex-girlfriend against her online bashers.
When asked about Britney, Justin shares:
“I don’t have too much to say about her situation. I can’t remember the last conversation I had with her… But this thing that happens online bothers me — these anonymous commenters.”
Justin seemed really put out while he defended his former sweetheart:
“People think they can say anything and it doesn’t matter to people… I’d love to see the people who comment about Britney online say those things to her face, because they couldn’t.”
Regarding the “dance-off” video that compares Britney’s pre-meltdown dancing skills to her dancing now, Justin says:
“The internet is a cruel place. What a f–ed-up thing to do.”
He insists that someone in their 30s—or nearing their 30s, in Brit’s case—can no longer do what they could back when they were in their teens and early 20s. Justin says:
“In Britney‘s defense, if you pulled up a video I did from 2003, I couldn’t do the sh-t I did then either.”
But what about Madonna? Or Michael and Janet Jackson? Weren’t they still able to dance the way they used to even when they were well into their 30s?
